Planned Giving
Planned gifts create the extraordinary opportunities that make UWC-USA a transformational experience for so many students. A planned gift to UWC-USA can take many forms and provide long-term support for the mission of the school as well as tax benefits for you and your family. We welcome bequests, IRA and retirement plans, life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts and stand ready to assist donors who wish to include any of these in their estate planning. By remembering UWC-USA in your estate plans, you can help individual students and, more importantly, the communities they will help form.

An easy and low-cost way to make a planned gift to UWC-USA is to include the school in your will or revocable trust. Each individual legacy contributes to our financial strength and ability to meet the needs of our students and their families. If you have not already done so, please consider putting UWC-USA in your will or revocable trust. See our Bequest Language page for samples of how to do this. You can also designate UWC-USA the beneficiary of Life Insurance, Annuities, or Retirement-Plan Benefits.
In most cases, yes. Many donors direct that their gifts be used to fund programs, support specific departments, or remember a loved one. Please be sure to discuss this when you make your gift.
As a donor who thoughtfully includes UWC-USA in your estate plan, you will become a permanent member of the Montezuma Society. Of course, we will also honor any requests for gifts to be anonymous.
