Cultural and Arts Events

Cultural and arts events

UWC-USA hosts a wide variety of cultural and arts events each year showcasing the remarkable talents of our students, faculty, and staff. From art exhibits to theater presentations to musical performances, all arts events are free and open to the public and provide an excellent opportunity for members of the greater Las Vegas community to visit and enjoy a wide diversity of cultural events.

Of particular interest traditionally to members of the community are the Cultural Day shows that occur three times each year. Students from a world region produce a show that features music, skits, monologues, and dance performances that reflect the history, culture, politics, and art of the region.

“At UWC-USA, I learned how to organize letter-writing drives, how to coordinate with other UWCs to create an international effort to support and have an alumnus released from prison, and how to start building an organization from the ground up.”
