Cultural and Arts Events

Cultural and arts events

UWC-USA hosts a wide variety of cultural and arts events each year showcasing the remarkable talents of our students, faculty, and staff. From art exhibits to theater presentations to musical performances, all arts events are free and open to the public and provide an excellent opportunity for members of the greater Las Vegas community to visit and enjoy a wide diversity of cultural events.

The campus is currently closed to the public and there are no public events scheduled for the 2020/21 academic year.

Of particular interest traditionally to members of the community are the Cultural Day shows that occur twice each year. Students produce a show that features music, skits, monologues, and dance performances that reflect the history, culture, politics, and art related to a specific theme.

All events are at Kluge Auditorium on the UWC-USA campus unless otherwise noted. Please arrive early and check with our Welcome Center staff for parking and directions.

“At UWC-USA, I learned how to organize letter-writing drives, how to coordinate with other UWCs to create an international effort to support and have an alumnus released from prison, and how to start building an organization from the ground up.”
