When children become a part of UWC-USA movement, so do their parents. It’s a life-long relationship built on a shared understanding of the significance of the school’s mission and the impact a UWC graduate can make in the world.
That doesn’t make it any easier to let them go! For many parents, the thought of sending their child far away for school can be a daunting one. Will he or she be safe? Will he or she eat right? Will my child commit to his or her studies? Indeed, generations of UWC parents have asked these questions.
The simple answers are yes. The UWC-USA campus has 24-hour security, onsite nurses, a cafeteria that can be described as a cornucopia of choice, and dedicated staff who mentor, monitor, and guide each student in their UWC journey. Applying to UWC
When your student applies to UWC, he or she applies to a national committee rather than the school. There are 17 UWC campuses around the world, and the committees can’t guarantee that successful applicants will get their first choice. Click here to learn more about the application process. No matter which school they attend, students discover a unique UWC experience that equips them for success in university and beyond.
