Graduation marks the end of our students’ experiences in Montezuma and the beginning of their journeys as global changemakers and advocates for a more peaceful and sustainable world. Graduation is typically open to the public but this year will be a virtual event for those who do not live on campus. All are welcome to join us online; it’s an opportunity for those interested in learning more about UWC-USA to experience a remarkable celebration of student accomplishment.

Graduation 2021 took place on May 11, 2021. It featured:

  • The recipient of the 2021 Giulio Regeni Alumni Impact Award, Ruben Ayala ’92, who shared some brief thoughts with our graduates
  • Shir Kaufman, the winner of the 2021 Sally Martin Prize shared her reflections on two years in Montezuma
  • The African Chorus performed
  • UWC-USA President Victoria Mora shared some reflections on the year
