United World College-USA students Ahmed Al Assar ’20, Palestine, and Slawomir Frankowski ’21, and Karolina Szewczyk ’20, both from Poland, won Best Delegation from the UNESCO Committee during the recent Model UN Conference in Santa Fe.
UNESCO encourages international peace and universal respect for human rights by promoting collaboration among nations. Twenty delegations competed for the top honor.
