UWC-USA is pleased to announce that Reed Baumgarten ’89 has been appointed to the position of Alumni Engagement Officer beginning this week.
Since completing his two years in Montezuma, Reed studied at Oberlin College and the University of California Davis graduating with a degree in Animal Science. He has worked in the nonprofit world and in sales for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals specifically promoting pharmaceuticals to assist oncologists and cancer patients. Most recently Reed has served as the executive director of Keaton’s Childhood Cancer Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children and their families as they battle cancer.
“Reed’s experience building valuable partnerships over a career that spans the for- and non-profit world is one of the reasons I’m so pleased he is joining the advancement team at UWC-USA,” said Mark Hodde ’89 who serves as Chief Advancement Officer. “We look forward to Reed’s work to enhance the UWC-USA alumni experience and build stronger relationships between alumni and the school we all care deeply about.”
