Masks
UWC-USA is collaborating with 100% Community to support mask making efforts in San Miguel County. Students and employees have donated thousands of masks to local health workers, daycares, and people in need.
Working with the Peace & Justice Center we have been able to distribute masks to local law enforcement vehicles so that they have masks they can hand out. Families of firefighters and first-responders have gotten masks to minimize their risk as their loved ones are on the front lines as essential workers. We need to get more masks out to these groups in particular.
