U.S. National Committee

This group of dedicated volunteers work with UWC-USA to select students to attend UWC-USA and the other 17 UWC campuses worldwide. Many of these students will receive merit-based Davis Scholarships for their UWC education.

A Unified Effort to Shape the Future

The UWC-USA admissions team works closely with the U.S. National Committee to select US students to attend UWCs around the world. This dedicated and talented group of volunteers meets every month to discuss issues related to the UWC movement and to shape the application process.

Inside Choosing UWC Davis Scholars

The U.S. National Committee reads nearly a thousand documents, teacher recommendations, and applications from students across the country, and they conduct personal interviews with about 150 semi-finalists over the course of the year. In February, they gather on campus to observe students in small group activities and conversations at our finalist weekend. Their commitment is a demonstration of their enthusiasm for the UWC mission.
