Fatymatou Dia Saleem is the Founder & Managing Partner of FDS Ventures. FDS provides a full suite of consulting services to individuals and organizations that are committed to educational equity and social justice. Projects range from start-up schools to strategic support for senior leaders. Fatyma’s background is in strategy consulting. She spent four years working for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Morocco and Nigeria before transitioning to the education field. Starting with a year-long fellowship at UWC-USA as an alumni in residence, she has spent the past seven years working with schools, education startups, community development and racial equity organizations, in the US and internationally. Fatyma has a BA in African Studies and International Development from Yale. She was born in Senegal and currently lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, Ihsan, and their two children.
