Board Member

Eivind is the owner and President of Djupedal & Associates, an LLC set up in early 2019 to serve as an advisor to small and medium-sized food arena businesses who want help with strategy and especially international business development. Prior to this Eivind worked for 38 years for two private multinationals, 34 of these for Cargill Inc., where he held merchandising, management, and leadership positions both in the US and Europe. Eivind was born in Oslo, Norway, and holds dual citizenship. He was an officer and graduate in Russian of the Army Language School, Oslo, Norway, and received a BA from the University of Oslo and an MA from the University of Minnesota. Throughout his professional life Djupedal has held many volunteer roles. In addition to being a trustee of United World College-US in Montezuma, he currently serves on the board of the Santa Fe Opera. Eivind’s extracurricular activities include downhill and cross country skiing, hiking, biking, travel, and photography. He and his wife Gwenn divide their time between Minnesota and New Mexico and are ardent art collectors, especially folk art. He is passionate about EDIA, mentoring, and helping young professionals develop and succeed.
