Ensuring that students thrive at UWC-USA and beyond.
Our student-centered university counseling program empowers students to take ownership of their journey. Guided by a comprehensive, best-practice approach, counselors help students explore their unique talents and interests, fostering self-discovery, goal-setting, and independence. This process enhances confidence, leadership, and the ability to make thoughtful, impactful decisions.
Our knowledgeable staff, with decades of experience in international university admissions counseling, help students identify the colleges,
universities, or other programs that best fit their academic, financial or other goals. View the data on our school profile here.
University counseling staff support students throughout the year (and during gap years) to manage all the elements of their applications, helping students to set timelines and goals while leveraging the incredible opportunities that come with a UWC education.
UWC-USA graduates are well-prepared for both the academics and residential independence of higher education, and as a result are recognized globally for their potential to contribute. Every year UWC-USA students are awarded merit and need-based scholarships from universities and generous national and international foundations that support high-achieving students.
UWC-USA students have matriculated to the following colleges and universities in recent years:
Graduates of UWC-USA and all UWCs are potentially eligible for need-based scholarships to around 100 colleges and universities in the U.S. The Davis United World College Scholars Program is designed to help UWC alumni secure the funding they need to continue their studies at the post-secondary level.
While UWC-USA provides extensive services and support for students, our staff also emphasizes the importance of “living well.”
Our students come to us with a wide variety of educational backgrounds. Some are English language learners, others have learning differences, and still others need extra support in some subjects due to interrupted schooling. Our academic support resources ensure each student can thrive.
English language learners arrive on campus prior to the start of regular classes for intensive English language courses and receive ongoing support as needed.
Faculty and staff work to help students identify individual preferences and challenges.
Coaching is available for writing and research skills, data analysis, and time management. Evening faculty office hours are offered for subject-specific assistance.
Our Future Pathways and academic support staff bring years of expertise in international education. They forge strong relationships with students, building the trust necessary to ensure each student has what they need to thrive at UWC-USA and beyond.
