Val Munier holds a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the University of Montpellier, France. At UWC-USA, she teaches French B and French ab initio. Prior to joining the Montezuma campus, Val spent two decades teaching internationally, primarily across Africa within the Alliance française network, where she led French language programs and cultural exchange. Most recently, she served during 5 years as a French B teacher and Dorm Parent at UWC East Africa (Moshi campus). Passionate about multicultural learning, Val loves guiding students as they navigate new languages, embrace different perspectives, and build home away from home.
