Terese Montoya

Terese R. Montoya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from New Mexico Highlands University. In addition to earning a QuickBooks certification, Terese is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

At UWC-USA, Terese assists students and parents with tuition invoices and manages the school’s accounts receivable, providing responsive financial support to the campus community.

Prior to joining UWC-USA, Terese worked for the State of New Mexico for 27 years in Santa Fe, where she held a variety of roles in accounting, accounts receivable, auditing, purchasing, and general ledger.

What do you love about teaching or your role at the school?
The diversity of UWC and meeting people from all over the world.
I retired from NM State Government after 27 years. I’ve worked in General Ledger, Auditing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and I’ve been married since 2001 with two children.
