Simon Hart serves as the Senior Director of the Bartos Institute for Peace and Sustainability, where he oversees the team of educators who implement co-curricular programming including Wilderness, Community Engagement, Applied Creativity, Farm, and the Constructive Engagement of Conflict Programming. With an extensive background in intercultural, experiential education, Simon’s role is to bring our mission into practice through dynamic and challenging experiential programs on and off campus.

Prior to joining the UWC movement, Simon worked with schools and universities throughout the world to support the development of global education through training, consulting, and student program development. Simon’s passion is bringing people together across differences in environments that support the fullness of human expression and deeper connections to self, place, and each other.

Simon lives in Montezuma, NM with his wife and daughter and spends time exploring the surrounding markets and mountains, building community, and finding awe in everyday experiences.
