Pat Leahan

Pat has been part-time at UWC-USA for the past 20 years as Community Engagement Liaison. In addition to connecting students with the wider local, regional and statewide communities, she supervised all MSW students from New Mexico Highlands University in their UWC-USA Social Work internships. As co-director of the Las Vegas (NM) Peace & Justice Center, Pat began collaborating with UWC-USA in 2006, a partnership that continues to this day. Previously, Pat was on the faculty at NMHU in the School of Social Work and Department of Behavioral Sciences. Her current work at UWC-USA continues to fill her with awe and gratitude thanks to the incredibly inspiring students she engages with from around the world.
