Ivannia Brenes Flores

Ivannia Brenes Flores is an international educator with over thirty years of experience in Spanish language acquisition, literature, and school leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Literature in Spanish.

At UWC-USA, Ivannia serves as an international educator, guiding students through rigorous academics and experiential learning in a diverse community. Prior to UWC-USA, she served as an IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Head of Secondary, where she led curriculum alignment and supported holistic student development. Before that, she managed student life and language programs across international contexts, fostering intercultural understanding and community engagement. Throughout her three-decade career across global learning environments, Ivannia has remained dedicated to empowering diverse student populations through transformative education, cross-cultural dialogue, environmental stewardship, and compassionate leadership.
