Q&A with Ingrid

What do you love about teaching or your role at the school?
What I love most about my role is helping students access opportunities that can change their lives. Supporting them and their families throughout the admissions process is incredibly rewarding. Even for students who are not ultimately selected, I’ve seen how simply taking part in the selection process can build confidence, encourage self-reflection, and open new possibilities for their future. Watching students grow, thrive at UWC-USA, and eventually graduate is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.
That I’m here to support them. Applying to UWC can feel exciting, but also overwhelming, and I understand that every student’s journey is different. I believe in open communication, listening carefully, and making sure applicants and their families feel informed and supported throughout the process.
