The Montezuma Castle on the UWC-USA Campus in Montezuma, New Mexico.

Chris Rogers

Chris teaches both Language and Literature as well as Language and Culture and happily takes students out on Trail Crew to repair and maintain our campus trail system. Literature is Chris’s first love, but he is enjoying exploring the new Language and Culture class, which is essentially linguistic anthropology. This is his third UWC, having also taught at UWC Costa Rica and UWC Changshu China. Chris calls South Dakota home but has lived in eight different countries, and cares deeply about teaching through postcolonialism and environmental criticism.

I love getting to know our students so very well, over two years, both in and outside of the classroom. It’s a great feeling to be in a small community that cares about each other.
