Belinda Nicholson ‘88

Belinda Nicholson ‘88 calls the island of Barbados home, though she has lived and worked most of her life internationally. Born in England, Belinda returned to London in 2019 and is currently working as a consultant. Prior to moving to London, Belinda was the Middle Division Principal at The School at Columbia University in New York City. Belinda began her teaching career as a high school and middle school special education teacher before moving into school administration as a special education liaison, dean of students, and principal. Belinda has a BA and MA in international development and social change from Clark University and an EdM in education leadership and administration from Columbia University. Belinda also leverages her experience in her work with schools on their diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, examining ways in which these practices can be embedded in a school’s mission-driven work.
