My students keep me up to date on music, trends, clothes, and perspectives. I especially enjoy the conversations we have that are “off-topic” when in or out of class. Of course, I am always proud to see progress, but I usually prefer to give my students the credit for their learning. I’m just there to open the (metaphorical) door!
