UWC-USA’s global alumni network connects more than individuals across every continent and industry. This expansive community fosters trust, collaboration, and impact, providing students with lifelong support. As alumni, they continue to embody the UWC mission, knowing they are part of a worldwide network dedicated to meaningful change.
We welcome our alumni to remain engaged with UWC-USA. Our students benefit greatly from the knowledge, experience and mentorship of alumni who are creating transformational change in the world in ways both large and small. Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to volunteer your time.
Many of our students are unable to travel home during school holidays when campus is closed and we anticipate the need for hosts to rise in the next few years.
Our fall CEC Conference and spring annual conference offer opportunities for alumni speakers and workshop leaders.
Our Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series is a popular series of virtual seminars on mission-aligned topics.
We hope the time our students spend at UWC-USA prepares them to be responsible global citizens who live the UWC mission in the wider world. Our policy requires that third-years request permission to visit campus before making firm plans. Please contact the Alumni Engagement Officer at [email protected] at least three weeks before your intended visit to UWC-USA to get permission. There is a limit of six people per visit. If you had a disciplinary violation as a second-year your visit may be denied.
We are grateful for financial support from our alumni, who sustain us. The annual fund is the foundation of everything we do, filling the gap between tuition fees and our annual endowment draw, and the cost of educating a student. Gifts to the annual fund support today’s students by funding scholarships, exceptional teaching and learning, campus life, and the innovation that enables us to respond quickly to new opportunities and challenges.
Each year the Giulio Regeni Alumni Impact Award recognizes UWC-USA alumni who have made substantial contributions and created impact in the local, national, or global community, and whose accomplishments, affiliations, and professional career honor the UWC mission. The award honors Giulio Regeni ’07, who in 2016 was kidnapped and killed in Egypt while researching the country’s independent trade unions.
