Each year, UWC-USA hosts a conference that focuses on key societal issues. This year's theme centers on "Justice in an Urgent Era," and will examine topics within four different tracks: systemic justice, environmental justice, armed justice, and technological justice. We are looking to include lectures, performances, and/or workshops that respond to the chosen theme and proposed contributions might address, but are not limited to: justice & sexual identity; questions of justice in the use of artificial intelligence; environmental justice and its many manifestations; potential/ challenges of restorative justice in the face of armed conflict; criminal justice systems.
The conference features notable speakers, outstanding alumni, workshops, opportunities for reflection, and the famous UWC-USA hospitality on our beautiful campus. Students from high schools and colleges in the region are invited to participate. All events are open to the public.
