Cases posted below reflect results from individuals who have been working, living, or studying on campus.
UWC-USA will not be posting names below and will post only basic details of the case. We ask that, should you be aware of additional identifying information about a case, you respect each person’s privacy. UWC-USA will update this list in a timely manner as information is verified. The NM Department of Health is notified of every positive case and contact tracing is initiated.

A student tested positive (asymptomatic) upon arrival and was moved to isolation quarters. Subsequent test was negative and student is now out of quarantine.
The child of an employee who lives on campus tested positive for COVID-19. The child is asymptomatic and quarantine and cleaning protocols have been implemented. The child subsequently tested negative.
An adult member of an employee household has tested positive. Contact tracing revealed no grounds for concern about community spread. Classes and other activities are continuing as normal.
A student returning from winter break tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in isolation. The student is experiencing minor symptoms. Contact tracing has been conducted.

An employee tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is experiencing mild symptoms at home. Contact tracing was initiated. No further spread was found.
