The Tri-Cultural Myth: Talking About Race and Class in Santa Fe
Co-sponsored by the College of Santa Fe, the Santa
Fe Reporter and the United World College-USA/Bartos Institute.
The Forum, College of Santa Fe
7:00 PM
Free Admission
How do contemporary Hispanics, Native Americans and Anglos feel
about race relations in Santa Fe? And how does it feel to be Latino,
Black, Asian or Arab in the City Different? Is this a town that
actively builds community across race, class, and ethnic lines?
This unusual forum will bring together a diverse group of Santa
Fe residents to talk honestly about these issues. Afterward, the
audience will join the conversation in an effort to encourage meaningful
and productive dialogue on what it means to live in an ethnically
diverse and economically stratified community.
