|  | UWC-USA is located in Montezuma, New Mexico, six miles (10 km) from Las Vegas, New Mexico, 68 miles (109 km) from Santa Fe, and 123 miles (197 km) from Albuquerque, where the closest major airport is located.
The campus is closed to the general public except for special, announced events. Only those who are registered, enrolled, employed or otherwise expected will be admitted to campus buildings. |
From Albuquerque, take I-25 north to Las Vegas.
Exit at the first Las Vegas exit, #343, and turn left at the end of the ramp. Go .5 miles and take a left onto New Mexico Avenue. (You will see a Santa Fe Railroad red caboose at the intersection.)
Go 1.9 miles. At the first traffic light (there will be an Allsup's convenience store on your left), turn left again onto Hot Springs Boulevard (State Road #65) and continue 4.3 miles.
Turn right when you see the Montezuma Castle. The Montezuma Post Office will be on your right. Please check in at the Moore Welcome Center when you arrive on campus.

UWC-USA is pleased to offer student-led tours of the Montezuma Castle on designated Saturdays. No reservations are required.
Tours begin promptly at 1 pm and last about one hour. They begin in front of the Old Stone Hotel on the lower campus. Parking is available near the Welcome Center.
The summer tours are now concluded. Please check back again in mid September for the Autumn tour dates.
Please note that since the Castle serves as a residence for over 50 people and is used daily for school purposes, it is not open to the public. All visitors must be accompanied by a school guide. For inquiries please call (505) 454-4221. |

| For those not actively enrolled in our programs, there are no guest facilities at UWC-USA. However, there are hotels and motels available in nearby Las Vegas, New Mexico.
