UWC-USA FAQs

Students who attend UWC-USA are typically in the last two years of what in the U.S. we call high school. The academic program is rigorous but manageable for most students who apply.

One of the founding principles behind the United World College movement is a belief that if young people can learn to overcome cultural, historical, religious differences, they can more easily do so as adults. Our experiential education program seeks to give students the skills and a wide variety of opportunities to bridge the differences that so often confound our world leaders.

Yes. UWC-USA (or the Armand Hammer United World College of the American West) is an IRS 501c3 organization. Tax-exempt organizations can be verified on the IRS website. Our EIN Number is 850297355.
